ME | Summer Child Dedications
Child Dedication is a special time for parents and guardians to publicly announce their intention to raise their child(ren) in a way that teaches about God and honors Him.
The Journey recognizes that parents are responsible to raise the next generation to know the greatness of God. We dedicate our kids because we want to partner with our church family–making a commitment to raise our children in light of God’s promises. The Journey commits to support parents as they raise the next generation to love God.
On Sunday, July 30th, The Journey Metro East will hold child dedications during the 10 AM Service.
To participate in the child dedication you will also need to email in a photo of your child and complete a Child Dedication class at The Journey. This class will be held following the 10 AM service on Sunday, July 23rd.
After you have filled out the registration form, please email your photo of your child to email@example.com. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. Please pray for our families and the next generation of our church!
He established a testimony in Jacob
and appointed a law in Israel,
which he commanded our fathers
to teach to their children,
that the next generation might know them,
the children yet unborn,
and arise and tell them to their children,
so that they should set their hope in God
and not forget the works of God,
but keep his commandments;
(Psalm 78:5-7 ESV)
